Prez Says for February 2023

Welcome to February, the month of Groundhog Day, Valentine's Day, and Presidents' Day.  Hopefully, we will see warmer weather soon.

On February 7th our General Meeting program will be "Free Apps" presented by John Kennedy and Judy Taylour.  Where money does not have to speak, and you still want quality software, learn about many alternative programs that you can get for free to do your computing tasks.  Many of these programs are cross-platformed (meaning they have versions for Windows, Macs, and Linux), so sharing files with just about anyone is easy.  Please join us at 7:00 PM for this informative program.

Have you heard about Chat GPT?  Join Andy Peck at 6:00 PM on February 7th for our Tech Corner to learn more about this new artificial intelligence program that is useful and fun to use.  Right now, it's free.

If you want to learn more about Linux, visit Steve Herber at our Linux Special Interest Group Meeting starting at 6:30 PM on February 14th.

Don't forget to drop in on Sally Ann at our Zoom Digital Imaging Special Interest Group Meeting at 7:00 PM on February 28th.  This month's theme is Wildlife.

Have you forgotten to pay your KEGS dues?  Please download the KEGS dues renewal form from our website (https://www.kegs.org) and send it with your check to the PO Box listed.  Thanks for your renewal.

We welcome visitors!  I look forward to seeing you at our meetings soon.
