Welcome to October, the month of ghosts, goblins, pumpkins, Halloween candy, and more football and more rain. Are you planning something special for Halloween?
On October 1st, we will have our Tech Corner and General Meeting in person at the North Bellevue Community Center and via Zoom. Our General Meeting program will be "How to Navigate the Digital Jungle" presented by Bob Gostischa.
October is Cybersecurity Awareness Month, a global initiative to educate individuals and organizations about online safety and security. As the digital world expands, so do the threats lurking online.
Bob Gostischa is a cybersecurity expert who can help you navigate the digital jungle and protect yourself from common cyber threats. Join us as we explore topics like:
Phishing attacks – Malware – Ransomware –
Spyware – Adware – DDoS attacks and more

Groundhog Day, Valentine’s Day, and President’s Day are coming soon. It is time for the post CES (Consumer Electronics Show) sales. We may have more rainy weather, but there is no snow in the forecast for this month. Plan something special for your loved ones on the 14th.
On February 6th, we will have our Tech Corner and General Meeting via Zoom only. Our General Meeting program will be "Purchasing Tips for a Windows Computer, a Chromebook, and Apple Devices" presented by Ron Brown. Following his presentations, we will view "Best of CES 2024".

Will April showers bring May flowers? The extended weather forecast for April does not show snow but does indeed show lots of rain. Will you be visiting the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival this month? Are you ready for Tax Day on the 15th? How will you spend your refund? Think about upgrading some of your electronics. Years ago we expected things we purchased to last forever; unfortunately, the rapid changes now in technology mean that to keep up we need to refresh our devices more rapidly.
On April 2nd, we will have our Tech Corner and General Meeting at the North Bellevue Community Center. These will be hybrid meetings (in-person and via Zoom). Our General Meeting program will be "Windows Privacy" presented by KEGS Member Andy Peck. He will cover Windows 10 and 11 privacy issues and settings available to users. Please join us via Zoom for this informative topic.

Will March come in like a lion and leave like a lamb? March Madness, St. Patrick’s Day and Easter are coming soon, and we may have more snow. Will you be celebrating with the Irish on the day of shamrocks? One of our members will be the Easter Bunny at the Shriners Easter Egg Hunt. I hope you and your family will have a wonderful Easter celebration.
On March 5th, we will have our Tech Corner and General Meeting via Zoom only. Our General Meeting program will be "How New Automobile Technology Empowers Seniors on the Road" by Ron Brown; "Some Simple Windows Shortcuts" by Hewie Poplock; and "Best Tech of MWC 2024" by Danny Winget. We did have enough April showers, so hopefully we will have great May flowers. May is the month of Mother’s Day and the Memorial Day Holiday. I hope you and your family enjoy the special celebrations this month.
On May 7th we will have our Tech Corner and General Meeting at the North Bellevue Community Center. These will be hybrid meetings (in-person and via Zoom). Our General Meeting program will be "Tips from Hewie and Ron" presented by Hewie Poplock and Ron Brown. Would you like a quick source for manuals that is comprehensive and does not require your email and credit card information? Hewie will show us one. Please join us for this very useful presentation of tips from Hewie and Ron.
