The Komputer Enthusiasts of Greater Seattle (KEGS) was incorporated in 1996 to meet the needs of computer users in the greater Seattle area. KEGS is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that holds its general meetings on the first Tuesday of each month.

As a cross-platform technology user group, KEGS supports various operating systems such as Windows, Apple, Android, Chrome, and Linux. KEGS has special interest groups (SIGs) that meet monthly to share common interests, learn new techniques, and resolve questions about the use of computer hardware, accessories, and software. Our support includes desktops, laptops, tablets, smartphones, digital cameras, and other digital devices.

Amazon Smile

Amazon decided to discontinue its donation program called Amazon Smile in February 2023. The company said that the program did not have the impact it envisioned. Amazon will continue to invest in areas where it can “make meaningful change,” such as assisting with natural disaster relief, affordable housing initiatives, and community assistance programs. Amazon Smile donated a percentage of purchases to a charity of users’ choice and gave away $377 million since its launch in 2013.
