February	2/8/2010	Vacation Photography--Cameras, Computers, and Tips - by Herb Johnson, Mountaineers Photographic Committee. This will be an image and graphics presentation on how to get the most out of your vacation photography.

July	7/12/2010	Rob Viens and Marlin Miller will review the Video Phone offered by American Communications Network or ACN Telecommunications. ACN is the world's largest direct seller of telecom services. With the ACN digital video phone equipment and the associated broadband service, you can see the person you're talking to and they can see you. Of course you both need compatible equipment. You can use the phone as a digital photo frame when you are not making calls with it. The service provides you with video mail and messaging, an enhanced phone book, customized ring tones and many more features not available with other types of phones. And since it is using broadband, it is an internet phone; so many calls can be free. Come learn how this equipment and service works.

September	9/13/2010	Carl Von Papp will review Microsoft's new Office 2010
October	10/11/2010	Our own Steve Fondren will be reviewing some of his favorite applications and tools that he uses to troubleshoot and repair computers.
November	11/8/2010	Howard Wolosky, a Software Design Engineer for the phone call experience on WP7, will be giving a presentation on Windows Phone 7. November 8, 2010 is the actual launch date for this new Microsoft product so we'll be among the very first to find out all about it.
December	12/13/2010	Our scheduled presenter was unable to attend but we had cookies eggnog and a lot of fun sharing information and ideas

KEGS Profile

The Komputer Enthusiasts of Greater Seattle (KEGS) was incorporated in 1996 to meet the needs of computer users in the greater Seattle area. KEGS is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that holds its general meetings on the first Tuesday of each month.

As a cross-platform technology user group, KEGS supports various operating systems such as Windows, Apple, Android, Chrome, and Linux. KEGS has special interest groups (SIGs) that meet monthly to share common interests, learn new techniques, and resolve questions about the use of computer hardware, accessories, and software. Our support includes desktops, laptops, tablets, smartphones, digital cameras, and other digital devices.
