E-MAIL DISCUSSION LISTS

A number of you folks have expressed a desire to correspond with either KEGS in general, the site founder in particular, or other RCAUG members using e-mail. Back on March 25, 1999, Bruce Kingsland started a list service with Onelist.com, a free e-mail distribution service. At that time, Bruce mailed out an invitation to over 30 known Presidents, officers, volunteers and whatnot from all of the previous RCAUG participants. Sadly, only five(5) people chose to respond.

We, the Board of Directors for KEGS, hope that more of you, if not the vast majority of you, will soon realize the benefits of participating in this method of discussion. Consider it a way of guaranteeing that everybody sees all of the e-mail sent by anyone and everyone in the group. We even think that the list could be used for voting. Please, let us know what you think about this idea.

You can subscribe to the list simply by visiting our Web page at onelist.com. Click here to get there. Additionally, you need to have your browser set to receive cookies. After you sign-up, you'll get an e-mail from Onelist.com confirming your e-mail address. Respond to that e-mail, then go back to the link, sign-in, and voila, you're off and running. (Bruce reports that there may be some delay in recognition of your reply, possibly up to 15 minutes.)

Due to an exteme lack of interest, the list was cancelled on September 21, 2000
