Raincoast 2002 Contest Information Page

We are sorry to have to announce that this year we will NOT be able to have a contest for Best Website, nor for Best Newsletter.

The reason is that we have learned that the APCUG has also instituted the very same pair of contests, running at almost exactly the same time.  We feel that running two contests side-by-side like this is not in the best interests of the User Group community.  Since we are the smaller of the two bodies, we have elected to bow out gracefully.

We do hope that next year, both the Raincoast and the APCUG communities can work together to set different dates for this highly valued and hotly contested competition.
