Registration Fee: $ 50.00 For your registration you'll receive five meals, classes, an opportunity to network with other users and a gift, which this year is a versatile bag that may be used as a satchel, a shoulder bag or a backpack. It holds a lot of materials including a laptop... however, you'll have to supply your own laptop. Inside will be demo software, flyers and product announcements. If you are checking into the hotel don't forget to tell them you're part of Raincoast. We will give one night's stay away if we get 25 reservations... who knows it might be you who gets one night free! And those are good odds...
We will have our usual fare: Friday Dinner hosted by Adobe their program will be wonderful we're sure... as time gets closer you may check for the topic they will present on. Most of you know Adobe is the maker of outstanding software programs such as Go Live, Photoshop, Adobe Type Manager and Illustrator, to name just a few. Whatever the topic it will be cutting edge and worth your time to hear about. The evening plans for after dinner are being firmed up, we are considering a visit to the Emerald Queen for those who "feel lucky".
Saturday breakfast is hosted by Smart Computing and they will give us the scoop on their wares as they did last year. I enjoyed it so much I purchased a subscription just so I could know more about Windows and PC machines, and I'm a Macintosh person. After breakfast come the popular "breakout sessions" where you may pick a class to attend. This popular feature is made possible by all of our sponsors, so be sure to tell them that you appreciate their sponsorship.
Lunch, too, will be a program and followed by more breakout sessions and then Saturday's dinner will be something special this year with Microsoft sponsoring a wonderful evening. Look for a great meal and fun ambiance. After their sterling presentation look forward to talking with vendors at the vendor fair. During the vendor's fair we will have drawings throughout the evening with donated software/hardware/gift prizes. Be there... it's what's happening.
This year we are aslo asking if any user groups want to share about their group they may bring computers. literature, software, etc. to share in a special area for user group sharing in the middle of the room where the vendor fair will be. So if you want to "show off" something special this will be the place. Be sure to let Steve Johnson know if you need electricity or internet access. We hope all of you will take the time to use this time to network with other user groups and to showcase what you feel you are doing well.
Sunday morning's breakfast is sponsored for the user groups and we hope to meet the needs of users by having a good discussion at breakfast; followed by more breakout sessions. It will be on Sunday that we build a computer on site to be given away in a drawing. So don't leave early.
Your committee has worked hard to bring this event to fruition. Please take the time to let them know what you like. There will be evaluation forms on Sunday to fill out at breakfast so don't leave without giving your feedback.
Please be thinking about helping next year. This just doesn't happen over night. It takes a team to put it together. We want to make this event something that you all look forward to attending because of the quality of vendors, topics of breakout sessions and viability of the venue. These last two years it has been hosted in Tacoma, but it is not tied to this locale. If you want to be involved and want the location closer to you, sign up and make it happen. This event is about what we can do together as user groups!

10% taken for any cancellation until September 1, 2003. After September 1, 2003 there will be no refunds available; but the paid registration may be transfered to anyone else.
